There is a sensitive, gentler side to Ajay Devgan, which is generally hidden behind a stern, tough exterior that he loves to project.Ajay detests talking about that ‘nicer` side about him. Few know that Ajay lends a supporting hand to a friend in Delhi, Dr Sunil Mittal, who works towards rehabilitating drug-addicted street children.

Ajay is in touch with these children and often talks to them over the phone from Mumbai. If sources are to be believed, Ajay cancelled all his appointments in Mumbai recently and flew down to Delhi to meet up with a couple of boys, who promised to give up drugs completely if they could meet the actor. Needless to say, the boys kept their promise!
